Министерство культуры и спорта подготовило изменения в Положение о Национальном пантеоне. Так, в новой редакции положения отсутствует пункт о захоронении членов семей президентов Казахстана. Также в пантеоне ведется книга регистрации погребений, содержащая сведения об умерших лицах. Ранее в этой книге размещалась биография умершего и его заслуги перед страной.
